up to $1,236.90 per week (including a private use

position will work out of Wyong Shire Council Chambers
and operates within our Shire Services Unit providing
a rewarding and stimulating work environment, supported
by a strong team and management.
Building a better team
The incumbent is responsible for the full range of
asset management functions, including the detailed
preparation of water and sewerage capital works programmes,
implementation of specific projects, asset monitoring
and reporting functions and the preparation and management
of asset related documentation. The position also
has input in the development and management of demand,
drought and integrated water cycle and the investigation
and design functions of the section. This includes
cost effective management of: capital works: identifying
asset requirements and acquisition strategies: projects
initiation, design, delivery and handover: asset
renewals and refurbishment: disposal of surplus assets:
implementation of demand and drought management strategies,
integrated water cycle management plans and asset
management plans

This position requires a person with degree qualifications
in Engineering and/or another relevant discipline.
However, Council will consider applications from students
in a relevant discipline who expect to graduate within
a year and who also have had relevant work experience
(with an adjusted salary applying until the person
graduates).
