Draft
Toukley Plan
Wyong Shire Council has exhibited a draft
plan for the future of Toukley.
 Designed
to rejuvenate the area and make sure it could cope with
growth, the plan made a number of recommendations about
development
and planning.
A rejuvenation of the Toukley Town Centre and Canton
Beach; protection of the village
centres at East Toukley and Norah Head, and moves to
ensure suitable residential dwellings, formed the basis
of the plan.
The strategy followed the Toukley Planning Study, which
was carried out in 2003.
Following the exhibition and collection of submissions
on the strategy, the draft
is being reviewed
and
refined.
