Volunteers caring for the environment
Landcare,
Coastcare, Bushcare & Rivercare groups contain
community volunteers who are concerned about the condition
of
their local environment.
In Wyong Shire, there are many environmental care
groups that spend countless hours and contribute
enormous
experience to helping their community. The tasks and
challenges they undertake are as diverse as the variety
of environments in which they work.
Habitats range from those
along
our spectaular
beaches and coastline, to the valleys and rainforests
of the hinterland.

and activities carried
out by many of these groups.

information about Landcare.
Voluntary Conservation Agreements
If you are a landowner who
is keen to help conserve bushland, why not consider
entering
into a Voluntary Conservation Agreement.
