Mosquitoe awareness Photo of a mosquito
A booklet about mosquitoes on the Central Coast aims to raise public awareness of the health hazards posed by the common 'mossie'.

'Living with Mosquitoes' (PDF - 1.10 MB) has been produced by University of Sydney researchers in conjunction with Westmead Hospital.

One of the aims of the booklet is to help ensure that mossies and their favourite Central Coast habitat are taken into account in urban planning. The booklet also aims to raise awarenesss of personal strategies for easing the risk posed by mosquitoes.
