Get the Olympic spirit at your library
You don’t need to go to Beijing to experience the Olympics.
Children who visit Tuggerah,
Toukley and Lake Haven libraries over the winter school holidays can
feel the spirit of the Games at a series of 'mini-Olympic workshops'.
Youngsters between the ages of five and 11 will be able to show their sporting
skill, take part in craft making; and generally have lots of fun.
The library mini Olympics will start at Toukley community hall on Monday,
July 7, from 10.30am to noon. Tuggerah library will be an Olympic host on
Thursday July 10 and it will be Lake Haven's turn on Friday July 18.
