Accessibility
Wyong Shire Council strives to
make this website accessible.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact
us, as we are continually working to improve the experience
for visitors.
PDF Accessibility Problems
Despite our best efforts, some sections of the website
may remain inaccessible.
While efforts are made
to provide text-based equivalents for our downloadable
material, much of this content remains in the Adobe
PDF format. The Adobe
Accessibility Resource Centre provides information
on the accessibility features of their software, in
particular Adobe Reader. An online tool for converting
PDF documents to text is also available from the
Resource Centre.
Changing
how sites are displayed
The ability to change the way your internet browser
displays a site is often best controlled within the
browser itself.
The BBC has created a useful
tutorial which explains how to change your settings
to suit your preferences within the software you
use.
Browsers
Running modern, standards-compliant browsers allows the user to access resources,
materials and the World Wide Web as it was originally intended. There are several
excellent browsers available.
Visit either The
Web Standards Project or the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
for additional information.

Navigation using headings
is not limited to visitors using assistive technology.
