Council is responsible for the building and maintenance
of a diverse range of recreational
facilities throughout
the Shire. These include:
- 800 hectares of parks and reserves with barbeques,
shelters and picnic seats
- Over 130 playground facilities
- 43 ovals/sports fields
- Various tennis, netball and basketball courts and
skateparks
- Over 21 kilometres of off-road cycleways.
