How and where can I pay my rates?
At all Customer Service Centres in Wyong Shire. All accept payment by cash, cheque, money order, eftpos, Mastercard, Visa card or Bankcard.

You can also pay at Westpac Bank and Australian Post Offices.

BPAY
Another payment option is by BPAY through your bank or direct debit you can contact Customer Service for direct debit form. To pay by credit card, phone: 1800 226 651 or pay online via this website through our online payments.

At what time of the year are my rates due?
If you wish to pay your rates in full they need to be paid by 31st August.

If you wish to pay by instalments they are due as follows:

  • 1st instalment 31 August
  • 2nd instalment 30 November
  • 3rd instalment 28 February
  • 4th instalment 31 May

If one of these dates fall on a Sunday the due date is the Monday after. Rates can be paid before the due date e.g if you are going on holidays.

Do pensioners get a rebate on rates?
Yes if the pensioner is eligible. To be eligible they must be a holder of a Pensioner Concession Card from either the Department of Social Security or Veterans Affairs, must be solely or jointly responsible for the rates and must occupy the dwelling as their sole or principle place of living. Contact Council's Customer Service for further information on

People on unemployment benefits are not eligible.
