Wyong Shire covers an area of 820.42 square kilometres.
The shire extends from near Gwandalan in the north,
to Ourimbah in
the south and from the Pacific Ocean to the hills beyond
the Yarramalong Valley.

The Mayor is elected annually by his/her fellow Councillors.
There are 10 elected representatives: five for each
of the two ward. Local Government elections are scheduled
