Monday
I.D.E.A.S Group – Interests, Dreams, Exploration and Socialising!
Beginning Monday 21st July and continuing every fortnight at the Centre between 9.30am – 11.30am. Everyone is welcome.

Evening Yoga Commences Tuesday 22nd July from 7pm – 8pm. The cost of the course is $55 in advance for the school term, or $7 per week. Venue is Warnervale Athletics Field Hall, corner of Virginia & Warnervale Rds. Warnervale.

Wednesday
'Just Walk It' - The Wonderful Warnervale Wanderers walking group will start activities
from Warnervale Family & Community Centre every Wednesday morning at 7.30 am.

Tax Help starts on Wednesday 23 July 2008 at Warnervale Family & Community Centre by appointment. To check if you can access this free service, please contact the centre on (02) 4392 8734. All details are confidential.

Coast Care Counselling - Affordable counselling available at Warnervale
Family & Community Centre, by appointment only.

Yoga - Starts Wednesday 23 July, 9.30 until 10.30 am. The cost of

Understanding the Emotional Side of Ageing
A free workshop for Seniors
Discover the tools to cultivate the garden of the mind to explore and release
unexpressed emotions, sow the seeds for elder wellbeing, reap the rewards
of strength and resilience and grow in a safe, friendly community environment.
Facilitated by Jan Bayliss, qualified facilitator and counsellor, on Wednesdays
from 6 to 27 August, 2008, from 9.30am – 11.30am.

Gold coin donation welcome and morning tea provided.

Facing the Challenge - This workshop explores the challenge facing many fathers. Be it by yourself, or through sharing the load with your partner, fathers take much more responsibility today than ever before. This course explores ways to improve your relationship with your child. Topics include changing roles for fathers, dealing with kids’ behaviour, building self-esteem in kids, communication: it’s more than words, discipline, limit setting and misbehaviour of children, and juggling work, life and children.

This will be held at the Centre on Wednesday evenings over 5 weeks - beginning on 13 August from 7pm to 9pm.

Thursday
Craft Circle each Thursday during school terms from 9.30 am till
12 noon. The cost is $3.00 per week. Craft Circle is held at Sparks Rd.
Christian Church, 51 Sparks Rd. Woongarrah.

Affordable childcare is available at the Centre.

Games Night 6.30pm till 9pm at Warnervale Family & Community Centre.
No bookings necessary - just pop in and play.

Friday
Kidstime Every Friday 9.30am to 11.30 am. Join in our playgroup for families with children aged 0-6 years. Organised activities for the children and information on local services are available. $2.50 per week.

Bookings are not necessary. Bring morning tea for your children.

Friday Craft Every Friday during school terms from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm at
Warnervale Family & Community Centre. $2.00 per week.

Bookings are not necessary, just turn up with your craft.
